Awards Committee

The Awards Committee is responsible for the management of the CIS awards program.

In particular, but not limited to the following, the Awards Committee shall:

• solicit nominations, review candidates, and recommend recipients,
• prepare, develop, and recommend plans for CIS awards,
• make recommendations on matters concerning awards, including proposals for new awards and award regulations.

The Awards Committee is supported by the following four Awards Subcommittees, which handle specific awards:

- Subcommittee for Outstanding Chapter Award

- Subcommittee for Outstanding PhD Dissertation Award

- Subcommittee for Outstanding Organization Award

- Subcommittee for Outstanding Early Career Award
