IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics

This journal publishes archival research results related to: the algorithmic, mathematical, statistical, and computational methods that are central to bioinformatics and computational biology; the development and testing of effective computer programs in bioinformatics; the development and optimization of biological databases; and important biological results that are obtained from the use of these methods, programs, and databases.

The journal is co-sponsored by the ACM, the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, the IEEE Computer Society, and the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society. It is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Control Systems Society.
